Here is a little, light fun story.
In keeping with the penguin and cold storage theme I accidentally found a couple oversized penguins in a novelty store that I thought I could get some mileage from. Detailing fodder can turn up in all kinds of places. My story has it that the owner of Hillton’s refrigerated warehouse has a couple giant penguins that he keeps and feeds and hopes to get some work from. Here we see him outside shooshing them back inside.

It looks like break time is over as the manager of the refrigerated storage warehouse chases his giant penguins back inside to work. What a novel idea, using penguins as workers in a cold storage building, probably quite comfortable and right at home. He hopes that if he trains them with free food they can do productive work in the cold temperatures inside.
Origin of slogan: What do you get when you pick fresh fruit and vegetables? — wilting (wilten’) produce.
Real life penguins are about 3 feet tall. My penguins measure about 9 scale feet tall. I did this for the fun of doing and not for scale accuracy. Is this an example of using modeler’s license or just cheating the scale? I am not sure that I know what is the difference?
