Y&H Company Boxcar

I wanted to try my art work on a 50 ft. boxcar. I laid this simple smooth sided car (doors are fixed and don’t open) on the scanner to get its colors into the paint program for alteration. Then I changed the lettering with the computer program to create my art.  Home computers cannot print white so I kept the dimensional data from the original. Let’s look at my efforts before, during, and after:

Here it is with the noticeably mismatched colors (the brown ink has faded in a short time). This car has the dragging sled track cleaner with fuzzy upholstery fabric cover and hidden weights inside. It looked better on the screen than on paper. The colors on my photograph were disappointing but the track cleaner works good when soaked with alcohol.
